Add Some Green to Your Home

Spring is coming and it’s got us thinking green – inside our homes. Adding live (or fake plants) can elevate your space. We’re seeing plants being incorporated into a variety of design aesthetics – from Bohemian to Mid-Century Modern, plants add a touch of life, color, and texture to your home decor, bringing a sense of nature indoors.

Ways to use plants as part of your interior design:

  • Mix & Match: Textures and Patterns: Don’t be afraid to mix and match different plants with different textures and patterns. This will add visual interest and depth to your space.
  • Try a Statement Plant: Large, leafy plants like Fiddle Leaf Figs, Monsteras, and Bird of Paradise are making a big comeback. These plants add drama and personality to a space and can be used to fill empty corners or create focal points.
  • Add Greenery to Unexpected Places: Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when it comes to placing your plants. Hang them from the ceiling, put them on a bookshelf, line your staircase, or even use them as a table centerpiece.

Ready to take care of a live plant in your home?

The best year-round indoor plants are those that are low-maintenance and can thrive in a variety of conditions, including low light, dry air, and fluctuating temperatures. Here are a few popular options:

Snake plant: This sturdy plant is known for its sword-shaped leaves and ability to tolerate neglect. It can thrive in low light or direct sunlight, and doesn’t need to be watered often.
